What is the attire for each event?

Thursday – Welcome Drinks

Dress Code: Cocktail Attire. Think polished pub attire – stylish, festive, and celebratory. Women might opt for short or midi dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy sets. Men are welcome to wear casual suits or polished looks with dress trousers (jackets not required). This is our first event of the wedding weekend, so wear something comfortable, fun, and celebratory!

Friday – Blessing & Sangeet

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us and invite all guests to wear formal Indian attire to Friday's events. If you'd like to wear Indian outfits, please know that you are most welcome to – whatever your cultural background. For women, we encourage guests to wear lehengas, saris, or elegant separates, and kurtas or formal Indian sets for men.

American formal wear is also welcome, or a fusion of both. This means suits for men and long dresses or chic separates for the ladies. If you don’t have Indian clothing, we encourage festive outfits in vibrant colors or with Indian-inspired patterns if possible.

Kindly note that the blessing will be held outdoors on the grass when choosing footwear.

*See below for recommendations of online Indian retailers if you are interested in purchasing or renting Indian clothing for the wedding.*

Saturday – Catholic Ceremony & Wedding Reception

Dress code: Black Tie. Men are asked to wear black tuxedos. Women are asked to wear floor-length gowns or formal pantsuits with color encouraged - think bold, bright, and festive following the tone of the summer season and the Indian celebrations from the night before, while keeping the formality of black tie.

We kindly request that guests do not wear red for Friday's events or tones of white, ivory, or cream for Saturday.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to capacity limitations at the venue, we can only accommodate those guests that are formally invited on your Save The Dates and wedding invitations. If you receive a plus one, your guest will be listed on your envelope.

Are children invited?

As much as we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding events adult-only. If you are staying at Cashel Palace Hotel or Cahir House Hotel in our room blocks, both hotels do offer babysitting services if you will be traveling with your kids. We hope that you can enjoy a well-deserved night off for the parents!
